Freelance Cinematographer, Editor, and Writer located in Hamlet, North Carolina. Originally from South Carolina, my content originated in a Clover High School film program that I partook in for three years before ultimately making my way to Full Sail University. My joy for writing was something I always had, but my joy and love for being a cinematographer and editor grew when I took a film course out of curiosity.

My time taking Film in High School taught me to persevere through a project when it got hard to continue. I also learned how to try and turn mistakes into things I can utilize to create the finished product. Finding opportunities where one might see a failure or missed chance. Through the years I've been honing these skills I had before taking my content and abilities to the next level.

Here I've completed the DCBS program at Full Sail University and gained my Bachelors of Science. From there, I will continue to build my portfolio and skills to achieve my goal of producing films that can inspire others to be their best selves. My freelance activities under the name Claude Chavis Productions aims to provide quality films to the world. Films with fictional stories are my expertise and I have done work on travel films, mini-documentaries, and advertisements while editing and writing are my more refined areas. My focus is to learn as much as possible to overcome any obstacle that may present itself when it comes to production so that the best story can be told with the best sound and visuals possible.
